What I enjoyed: I went into this one with an open mind, not really expecting much substance, and this story surprised me! All of the main characters are so well-developed and open ended for many sequels to come in this universe (with many more movies on the horizon). I can’t wait to visit Christmas Notch again. The spice is very spicy and enough to give smut lovers what they want while also balancing a story and perspective on real topics like sex work, celebrities’ right to privacy, mental health, body positivity, misogyny and so many other things. It was super well done without being over the top in opinions. And there was something so hilarious and poignant about the “wedding dress” scene. The third act break up is believable and not overly dramatic.
