Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 - a couple open door scenes that aren’t overly explicit

What I enjoyed: I chuckled out loud quite a bit with all the horsey hijinks; especially the broken bed. I als really, desperately hoped that there would NOT be weird human-horse sex scenes, and thank you all that is sane in the world that there was not. The horse mode actually gave the two of them time to talk and get to know each other. The ending is so sweetly predictable, but it felt soothing rather than dull in how it played out to the trope. I did enjoy the reverse damsel in distress between Bianca and Eric. The political intrigue gave it a little more oomph than typical romantasy that focuses entirely on the sex part. The villain’s retribution was great and got me one last chuckle before the end of the story.
