What I enjoyed: The ending and the reveals! Both were unexpected and yet had plenty of clues leading up to the explanation. I liked both endings to Barbara and Bear as satisfying and also a little messy. This conclusion to the story really landed in a perfect middle between to open ended and too wrapped up. It’s the best feeling to be able to end a book, but still keep the imagination going about what comes next for the characters.
