What I enjoyed: I really appreciated the character development and Harriet’s backstory. It was a welcomed swerve from the expected that Harriet didn’t need to reverse her curmudgeonly ways, but rather needed to see how she could stand up on her own. It helped that the ending leaves things messy but resolved to make this story feel fresh. The relationship between Harriet and Nolan feels genuine as the time they spend together mostly involves exploring their lowest moments and deepest secrets. I particularly enjoyed when Nolan gets called out for being so incredibly dense.
