What I enjoyed: my gawsh, what didn’t I love? I found myself giggling senseless throughout the entire story. The scene with the intestines permanently burned into my imagination. Even though I called the killer the first time we meet them, I still had fun picking up on all of the clues. I also called the other twist character reveal too, but I didn’t mind because it was fun to see what Jamie didn’t notice. The structure of slasher rules keeps it formulaic and Easter egg-y in a Scream kind of way. I so thoroughly enjoyed this! The final scene had such rom-com vibes. It felt so clever set against the gruesome death scene all around the characters.
