What we loved about this one: I’m such a sucker for a villain trying to turn hero story, and that’s exactly what Vic brings to the pages as a murderous orc who wants to start over as a barista. It seems silly from the description, but when you start reading, it’s so very sincere. It felt genuine and hopeful. The perfect brain candy if you need an escape. It delivers heartwarming character development in abundance.
