What I enjoyed: gimme all the absurdity and dark humor you can, and I’m going to love it! This isn’t a turn your brain off book though, so its density could make it a challenging one to enjoy if you’re looking for more mindless, superficial humor. The world-building is so vivid and familiar. But at the same time, you will need to suspend a lot of disbelief and not think too hard on the how. The sprinkling of dad jokes helps the pace in what could easily be overly philosophical prose. The humor keeps the story grounded.
