🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 - one open door scene that’s not overly explicit

What I enjoyed: the moments of humor in the fake hallmark world were the best! I loved watching Jill try and escape the world by being so anti hallmark it was ridiculous. And it swerved against tropes in such a fulfilling way. It wasn’t entirely unexpected, but there’s comfort in knowing exactly how a plot will go sometimes. I think that’s why holiday romances are so popular. Having other non-romantic relationships for Jill to repair gave the book more depth than most romances. The real world resolution vs the sweetville one also felt a lot more balanced and fair.
